March Birchbox Review

Its that time again! My monthly birch box has arrived and I'm here to review the products I received inside. I got the box about a week ago, however I wanted to wait until I tried all the products to do this review.

Inside the box was the cutest quote at the bottom! Always makes you feel good opening a birchbox! Right lets get started!

The first product I tried was the LAQUA & CO Blush Highlighter. So to my surprise this highlighter was creamy! I definitely wasn't expecting that! However the consistency is perfect and not greasy at all which makes for an easy application and looks great on. Its very subtle which I was hoping for as I would definitely not want, bright pink sparkly cheeks! It is quite small, but I feel like it would last quite a while as you only need a small amount of the product for it to show up on the skin.

Above is a photo of the blush highlighter. I feel like this should have been more of a gif so you guys can see the effect of this product better. As it wasn't sunny the glow wasn't showing as much in the image, however it was there. It is not a blinding glow as you would get from normal highlighter but if your looking for a suite glow with come pigmentation the this is perfect.

So as Ive posted the photo above I will talk about the Benefit BAD gal BANG mascara! so you can look at the photo above for reference...

At the moment I have individual lashes on, so I couldn't try this out properly however I have tried it out on my bottom lashes as I was so exited to try it out!!! I love it when Birchbox include amazing goodies like these in their boxes! I love the brush of this mascara so much as it does not create clumps at all and this mascara so perfectly jet black and the consistency just paints and extends your lashes to perfection!!! The consistency is not as thick as normal mascaras, it is much more of a liquid substance, but the tiniest amount of this product makes your lashes look stunning. Even on my lower lashes its extended them and they did not clump at all! I cannot wait to try this out on my real lashes once I take off my individuals!!!! SUPER EXITED!!! (Definitely my favourite product in this months box!)

The Next Product was the Beauty Protector - Protect & Volume:

So, this will probably be the shortest review. This product was terrible. It advertises that it does not leave your hair sticky.... Well thats a complete lie. My hair was nice and clean and after using this product and blowdrying it... lets just say I had to wash it again.

Next was the This Works - deep sleep pillow spray

Now.... Funny story! The day I received this I went to sleep super late, around 2am? I though... this spray says I will wake up more refreshed.... first thought.. WHAT A LOAD OF LIEEEEES ... so I decided to spray about 3 puffs on my pillows (smelled like lavender so I thought why not) Going to sleep thinking to myself this is not going to work and I'm still going to wake up as tired as anything... The next day I had lectures at 10am.. now, I DID NOT WAKE UP!!!! I put 2 alarms on, which I DO NOT remember waking up to turn them off at all! AT ALL. So... my conclusion is that this spray definitely works and it is amazing hahah its definitely NOT something I would ever risk using on a work night or uni night ever again ahahah but I definitely woke up more refreshed! So I will definitely use this when I need a good night sleep. Maybe the 3 puffs were too much? So I will definitely try less puffs and see if that will still make me sleep through my alarms hahah but I would definitely buy more of this stuff! I am purely AMAZED!

Lastly I've tried the BLAQ eye mask:

So first of all... I loved the packaging of this product! The way they wrote the description, definitely would have had me sold if I saw the in store! However the product itself I can't say too much about... I don't normally get puffy under eyes, so I cannot say it reduced any puffiness. It did however make my skin feel refreshed with the cold gel and left the area feeling moisturised. Not sure it would be something that I would buy again, however I did enjoy using it.
