Last weekend my dad bought the new DJI Mavic Pro drone and gave me his old DJI Spark as an early birthday present! We were so exited, we decided to drive up (5 hours) to Lake District for the day to fly the drones and see the place! I've heard a lot about Lake District and I must admit it does live up to its expectations BUT in the summer! I think, I couldn't enjoy the sceneries as much as I wanted to as it was just so cold ! However we did get some amazing shots!

Have you ever been to Lake District? If so, whats it like in the summer? I'd love to hear from you! I'd definitely love to go back one of these days and stay for longer so if there are any places you recommend, leave them in the comments below!

First - Here are a few shots with my DSLR :

First location we visited was : Newby Bridge, Ulverston

Further down a narrow road we came across these beautifully bundled trees...

and lastly.. where we took most of our drone shots too is by the lake!

Now... for the most exiting part!! sadly by the time we found a suitable place which was not too windy to fly the drones, the sun went down.. however we still captured some amazing shots!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! If you want to see more travel posts, let me know in the comments below! Love R x
