For everyone out there who has wanted to go and have an afternoon tea experience at Sketch in London, I thought I would share my experience with you, so you know what to

expect. Lets get to the main point of why you are probably reading this.... how much did I pay to have afternoon tea and was it worth it? Now let me tell you, this place is not cheap! After paying a whopping £74! per person, I must say it was however, definitely worth the price! Not something you can afford to do every day but you can definitely see why they charge so much! The food is divine, the decor is beautiful and the waiters were very well dressed along side treating you with great respect while being super friendly.

What did that £74 cover? Well here is a breakdown so you don't do the same mistake as we did! Funny story: Once we received our stacked afternoon tea, we thought that was it... we thought there is nothing else involved, so we took advantage of the unlimited sandwiches and tea until we realised we still had 2 more courses to go after that!

The afternoon tea consists of 4 courses for £58 in which you get unlimited tea and sandwiches. If you are to have one glass of Rose (which we did), this will bring the price up to around £74 per person.

Starter:

For starter we had 2 slices of cheesy bread sticks, some caviar and the most amazing and probably my favourite dish from the whole menu was the egg! the egg whites are separated from the yolk and mixed with MORE CHEESE than introduced into an egg shaped container with the yolk placed back on top. This was just divine!

Tea and Rose:

Throughout the meal, we had unlimited tea which we could have tasted as many flavours as we would have liked, as well as our glass of Rose. The mugs they served our tea in were so adorable! I absolutely loved them! I think it may have been the most inspirational cup of tea i've ever had! haha

Second Course:

A selection of sandwiches and desserts which were all very delicious. Especially as we ordered EXTRA sandwiches! The menu was fairly confusing which is why we hadn't realised that more food will be coming.

Third Course:

For the third course which I completely forgot to get a decent picture of we got a choice

of raisin or plain scones with cream and 2 selections of jam. The scones where so warm when they came that I didn't want to miss out on eating them warm to take a photo. So here is what was left of an amazingly warm, mouth watering, strawberry jam scone.

Fourth Course:

Finally the tea finished off with a choice of a Banana loaf slice or Victoria Sponge cake. We did get offered a slice of each, however after so much food we both though we could

not eat anymore, so we decided get one each and split the dessert so we can see what both were like. As always without disappointment, they were both delicious. The banana slice was much lighter after a lot of food, however both desserts were delicious.

And of course you can not say you've been to SKETCH without an iconic bathroom selfie!

Just a quick heads up for all you selfie lovers out there.... Once it gets dark outside it gets dark inside. I managed to take some selfies in the bathroom before it darkened outside and the lighting was amazing but after that it was very dark! not only when in the toilets, but also when dining.

MAKEUP for the day in much better lighting!I must admit! Sleek's new cream highlighter is the bomb!
